ABOUT ME
Hello, I'm Anthony Stanford
WHERE I COME FROM
I was born in Killeen, TX. A few years after I was born, my parents moved back to their home town in Oklahoma. In 1992, we moved to Irving where I graduated from Nimitz High School in 1999. While I was at Nimitz I became friends with my future wife. After high school, I joined the US Navy as a Cryptologic Technician Maintenance (CTM2). While in the Navy, I was stationed on the USS Monterey and at the Defense Intelligence Agency. I went to Northlake College after returning home from the Navy.
A THRIVING CAREER
I have made a career in network and telecom engineering. I have worked for companies in several industries like manufacturing, banking, and HOA management.
Family
While I met my wife in high school, we did not start dating until I had returned home from the Navy and started my career. I married her in November 2010. We have a 7 year old son and 3 year old twin girls.
MISSION STATEMENT
Making Irving work for the Citizens
I am dedicated to helping the citizens of Irving feel heard by working towards more citizen friendly city. I am also wanting to do my best to ensure that the city is working towards a more symbiotic solution to items such as code enforcement, permitting, animal control, and infrastructure.
